Townships and families gave their old bikes a new life!
Both
Hopewell and Lawrence Townships were able to donate dozens of unclaimed bikes
to Pedals for Progress.
Many local families also brought their extra bicycles to ETS so
that Pedals For Progress could provide communities in Africa, the Pacific
Islands, Latin and Central America with low-cost, reliable transportation. 87
bikes were donated along with $500 to help cover shipping costs. Pedals for
Progress has collected almost 100,000 bikes in the past ten years. |
