Timetable for Constructing Portions of the Lawrence Hopewell Trail

Phase 1

Completed through January 1, 2008

Keefe Road
Village Park in Lawrenceville
Lawrenceville Main Street historic area
The Lawrenceville School campus

The most recent segment to open is Keefe Road, which with the other three segments in Lawrenceville provide a contiguous 3 mile stretch of trail. The BMS/Hopewell campus leg is approximately 1 mile along Pennington-Rocky Hill road. The segment through ETS property is approximately 1.2 miles on quiet paths off Rosedale Road.

Phase 2

Build segments between January 1, 2008 and December 31, 2008

Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed
Mercer County Park Northwest, including Rosedale Park
Tracts along Princeton Pike in Lawrence Township

Phase 3

Build segments between January1, 2009 and December 31, 2012

Complete the remaining sections of the entire 20-mile trail
